Karen Lowrie of EAC, together with Planning Healthy Communities Initiatives (PHCI) colleague Leigh Ann Von Hagen of the Voorhees Transportation Center, conducted training in Health Impact Assessment at nine regional “A-team” meetings held at locations around New Jersey by the NJ  Housing and Community Development Network during January and February of 2018.  Dozens of representatives from local government, housing and service agencies learned about healthy housing issues and about tools to evaluate health impacts in order to build health considerations into housing and community development decisions.
