In many ways, the IHC grant program is a highly innovative initiative that seeks to undertake upfront and lasting engagement of people with disabilities to advance transformative change in design and decision-making associated with building healthy communities here in New Jersey.
The purpose of the February 9th All Grantees Virtual Workshop is to build a community of practice among grantees; reinforce the concepts of policy, systems, and environmental change; and collaboratively build best practices with regard to inclusion of people with disabilities in grantees’ workplans.
