Aileen Eagleton is a Postdoctoral Research Associate in the Built Environment and Green Building Group, where she focuses on energy and climate resilience and the effects of the built environment on air quality.
Previously, she served as a Climate Action Fellow at the NJ BPU through the Eagleton Science and Politics Program. During her fellowship, she worked on various clean energy equity initiatives, which included leading the development of the Urban Heat Island Mitigation Program.
She earned her Ph.D. in Chemistry from Dartmouth College, where her dissertation centered on scalable methods for integrating conductive nanomaterials on fabrics to create electronic textile sensors for the detection and remediation of atmospheric pollutants.
Aileen’s work and advocacy are grounded in environmental justice, and she is committed to working towards a just clean energy transition.
