Handi Chandra Putra, PhD, is an affiliated researcher of the Rutgers Center for Green Building. He received his Ph.D. in Planning and Public Policy in 2017 from the Bloustein School, where his research focused on social behavior simulation by combining planning and policy perspectives and quantitative approach. Upon graduation, he worked as a consultant at the World Bank Group and an adjunct lecturer at Universitas Tarumanagara in Indonesia. He is currently a postdoctoral researcher at Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory. He has written peer-reviewed publications in the areas of urban resilience, spatial data infrastructure, and building simulation. He has served as a reviewer for journal publications that are relevant to his expertise.
