Giulianna Rivera

Researcher

Giulianna Rivera recently joined the Rutgers Center for Urban Policy Research as a short-term co-adjutant researcher and assists the department on a variety of research projects. She obtained her Master of Liberal Arts in Sustainability from Harvard University, with a concentration in Sustainable Cities and Communities. She holds a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Boston College, and dual-minors in Leadership and Management and Fine Arts. She is a LEED Green Associate and is actively pursuing her WELL AP. Particularly interested in the intersection of health within green infrastructure, building decarbonization, resilient design, and sustainable urbanism, her recent research utilized a life-cycle analysis to explore the possible health benefits of prominent green building program features within the execution of retrofits.
