Jing Wang is a PhD candidate in a joint program in Supply Chain Management and Operations Research at Rutgers University, having joined the department in September 2023. She previously completed her Master of Engineering in Logistics Engineering at Fudan University and holds both a Bachelor of Management in Logistics Management and a Bachelor of Arts in French from Lanzhou Jiaotong University.
Jing’s research focuses on optimizing supply chain processes through advanced artificial intelligence techniques. She has published an article on the application of computer vision algorithms in e-commerce demand analytics. Jing is proficient in employing sophisticated modeling techniques such as the CatBoost Regressor and MILP models to tackle complex operational challenges. Her professional experience includes a role as an AI Algorithm Engineer at Johnson & Johnson, where she developed AI models that significantly improved medical image analysis. Jing aims to leverage her AI expertise to develop practical solutions in the field.
