Shiyu is a Ph.D. candidate at the Edward J. Bloustein School of Planning and Public Policy, Rutgers University. Her research focuses on wearable sensors, urban informatics, and micro-mobility. She holds a Master’s in Urban Planning from Columbia University and a Bachelor’s in Architecture from the Chinese University of Hong Kong. Prior to Rutgers, Shiyu worked as an urban planner and designer, with experience in strategic and sustainability planning projects.
