Ioanna Tsoulou is a Research Fellow/Science Manager at UCL, Institute for Environmental Design and Engineering, London, UK. Prior to joining UCL, she was working as a researcher at the Rutgers Center for Green Building, while doing a PhD at the Edward J. Bloustein School of Planning and Public Policy, Rutgers University, NJ, USA. She also holds a Master in City and Regional Planning (MCRP) focusing on Environmental and Physical Planning from the same school, and a Master of Engineering (M. Eng.) from the Department of Civil Engineering at the University of Patras, Greece, focusing on Environmental and Transportation Engineering. Her research interests are in the areas of climate adaptation and urban resilience, in particular thermal and air quality performance of buildings and neighborhoods, occupant behavior modeling, and green infrastructure.
