EAC’s Stacy Krause and Matt Campo, collaborate with a Rutgers team and others to advance a regional resilience plan in northern Monmouth County. In partnership with Rutgers colleagues at the Rutgers Climate Institute and the Jacques Cousteau National Estuarine Research Reserve, EAC team members Stacy Krause and Matt Campo are working with the New Jersey Coastal Management Program to develop a unique plan for resilience involving 15 municipalities surrounding the Navesink and Shrewsbury Rivers in northern Monmouth County. New Jersey Fostering Regional Adaptation through Municipal Economic Scenarios (FRAMES) is a NOAA-funded project led by Bloustein Alumni, Kelly Pflicke (nee: Bickers), that is using the latest climate science and participatory processes to develop a consensus plan to reduce risks and impacts from coastal flooding, storms and sea level rise in cooperation with the Two Rivers Council of Mayors.
